About MPLWhen Quarry Park first opened in 1985, it was operated by the Friends of Quarry Park. In April of 1997, Midcoast Park Lands (MPL) was formed as a non-profit organization and it now manages Quarry Park (see the history page of this website for more information). MPL is governed by a board of directors who are elected to two year terms by the general membership. These elections take place at the annual MPL meeting which are advertised locally and on this web site. In addition of the elected board members, there are also two appointed board members as selected by the Cabrillo Unified School District and the Midcoast Community Council. Current MPL Board
Funding and DonationsMembership and GrantsMPL is supported by grants from the Peninsula Community Foundation, the Half Moon Bay Odd Fellows Lodge, the Morarity Family Trust, and by individual and corporate memberships. Annual tax deductible memberships rates are:
MPL's Memorial Bench and Tree ProgramDedicate a living memorial or trailside bench to loved ones, to honor a special person or event, or just to show your support for the park. Please contact MPL for more information about this program.
